The Healthy Futures Strategy leverages insights from scientific research on the health and well-being of children ages 0 to 8, reports and recommendations from child-focused organizations and government agencies, and the expert knowledge of local community partners.

Health Foundation research summaries and commissioned reports provide background on key topics related to children’s health. Several resources provide information on the whole-child health (WCH) approach central to the Healthy Futures Strategy as well as the various settings and venues crucial to WCH promotion. An additional set of resources have informed Healthy Futures initiatives aimed at building community capacity as well as impacting policy and advocacy to better support children’s health.
